Extending your reach in Asia with uncompromised brand standards and with efficiencies in materials, services and project timelines is challenging. It's important to have a trusted partner in Asia who is familiar with local customs, regulations and languages. This is key to Western brands expanding in this region and to local brands that seek consistent and compelling shopper experiences that win consumers' hearts.
In this Live Session, Bryan offers solutions to the challenges of bringing a new product to Asian markets. These include brand standards issues, such as how to avoid color-print inconsistencies, and efficiency issues, such as how to bring new products to these closely-bordered markets quickly, before competitors have time to catch on and copy.
Bryan has been an integral part of Schawk’s Asia presence for over 10 years. Beginning as Schawk’s single point of contact in overseeing all sales, marketing and account management activities for Schawk’s North American clients doing business in Asia, he relocated to Schawk’s Singapore regional headquarters in 2009, where he now manages Schawk’s brand development (Anthem) and deployment (Schawk) business for South East Asia. Additionally he also heads Schawk’s creative and deployment accounts for the China market and has been instrumental in the set-up of Anthem’s new creative offering in Shanghai. Prior to joining Schawk, Bryan lived in mainland China for several years, and he has a degree in both marketing and Chinese language. He brings with him cultural and linguistic understanding of several countries in the region, essential to ensuring clients’ needs are met smoothly and efficiently.
